ZABuilt for South African SMEs

Give your team back
the hours admin takes

Zanostack finds the two or three places in your business where AI genuinely saves time, then sets them up with you. Plain language, small pilots, and nothing you have to rebuild.

No obligation. You leave the call with at least one idea you can try yourself, even if we never work together.
The honest picture

AI is useful. Most advice about it is not.

You hear that AI will change everything, then get pitched tools that do not fit how a twelve person business actually runs. We start from your week, not from the tool.

What usually happens

Expensive software, unused by month two

  • A subscription bought because a competitor mentioned it
  • Staff unsure what they are allowed to paste into it
  • No one measuring whether it saved a single hour
What we do instead

One clear task, tested for a few weeks

  • We map where time goes before suggesting anything
  • We pilot one workflow with the people who do it today
  • We keep it only if the time saved is real and visible
Where AI helps

Six jobs AI already does well

These are the areas where small teams most often see a difference. Your list will be shorter and more specific after a call.

01

Customer questions

Draft replies to the questions you answer every day on email and WhatsApp, so staff review instead of typing.

Retail, trades, hospitality
02

Paperwork and capture

Read invoices, delivery notes and forms, then pull the details into your spreadsheet or accounting system.

Distribution, logistics, admin heavy teams
03

Quotes and proposals

Turn a site visit voice note into a first draft quote using your own pricing and wording.

Construction, services, agencies
04

Reports you never get to

A plain summary of sales, stock or bookings every week, written in sentences rather than another dashboard.

Owners and managers
05

Marketing drafts

Social posts, product descriptions and newsletters in your voice, ready for you to edit and approve.

Any business that sells online
06

Internal know how

An assistant that answers staff questions from your own procedures, so the owner stops being the help desk.

Growing teams, new hires

AI should take the repetitive work off your desk, so your people can spend their time on customers.

How we work

Three steps, starting small

You stay in control of the pace and the budget. Each step stands on its own, so you can stop after any of them.

01

A free conversation

We talk through how a normal week runs and where the hours go. You get honest feedback on whether AI fits at all.

30 minutes, free
02

A focused pilot

We set up one workflow with the people who do the work today, using tools that fit your existing systems.

A few weeks
03

Keep what works

We review the time saved together. Anything useful gets documented and handed over. Anything else gets switched off.

An example

What a pilot can look like

An illustrative scenario for a small plumbing business. It is not a client story; it shows the kind of change we aim for.

Illustrative scenario

A four person plumbing team in Pretoria

The owner writes every quote at night from notes on his phone. Customers wait a day or two, and some book someone else.

The pilot: he records a voice note after each site visit. AI turns it into a draft quote using his price list. He checks it and sends it from the van.

Before
After the pilot
Writing quotes
Typed at night, from memory
Drafted from a voice note, checked on site
Customer waits
Often the next day
Usually the same day
Pricing
Varies by how tired he is
Pulled from one price list
Who decides
The owner
Still the owner. AI only drafts.
What you can expect

How we keep it honest

Plain language

No jargon. If we cannot explain it simply, we should not be recommending it.

POPIA aware

We check where your data goes and keep personal information out of tools that do not need it.

A person approves

AI drafts and sorts. Anything that reaches a customer is checked by someone on your team.

Tools you can leave

We prefer tools you can run yourself and cancel anytime, so you are never locked in to us.

FAQ

Questions owners ask us

Something else on your mind? Email branten@zanostack.tech.

Is my business too small for AI?

Usually not. Small teams often benefit most, because one person losing five hours a week to admin is a large share of the business.

Do I need technical staff?

No. We pick tools your team can run from a browser or the apps you already use, and we train the people who will use them.

Is my customer data safe?

We design every pilot with POPIA in mind: we check where data is stored, keep personal information out of tools that do not need it, and write down what goes where.

Will AI replace my staff?

That is not what we set up. The goal is to remove repetitive work so your people can spend more time with customers and on the jobs that need judgement.

What does it cost?

The first call is free. Pilot pricing depends on the workflow, and we agree a fixed scope and price in writing before any work starts.

What if the pilot does not save time?

Then we say so and switch it off. Part of the review is checking honestly whether it was worth it.

Which tools do you use?

Whatever fits. Often that is AI built into tools you already pay for, such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, before anything new.
